Innova Biosciences Lightning-Link antibody labelling kits

Innova Biosciences Lightning-Link kits are a one-step conjugation method, which simplifies the production of labelled antibodies. It is claimed that only 30 s hands-on time is required. The antibody is simply added to the Lightning-Link reaction mix and the label is covalently bound to the antibody in a gentle, controlled process. Furthermore, as there are no columns or other separation steps, antibody recovery is close to 100%.

The conjugation reaction takes about 3 h at 20-25°C at physiological pH and the labelled protein is used without purification. The system works with phosphate, HEPES, MES, MOPS and amine-free buffers.

The entire conjugation reaction is carried out in one tube, so is very efficient. The reagents are designed to deactivate and are completely benign.

Labelled antibody can be used directly in western blotting, enzyme immunoassays, immunohistochemistry and other applications which require labelled antibodies or proteins

Over 45 labels are available in the range - enzymes, tandem dyes, biotin, avidin/streptavidin, fluorescent proteins and fluorescent dyes.
