Promega 6 x 5 LC-MS/MS Peptide Reference Mix reagent and software tool

Promega has released the 6 x 5 LC-MS/MS Peptide Reference Mix, a novel reagent and software combination. The reagent monitors LC and MS parameters while the complementary software reports on instrument performance, as well as performance history.

The peptide formulation saves time by assessing multiple LC and MS parameters, such as peak height, mass accuracy, dynamic range and sensitivity, in a single run. The AAA-qualified peptides result in accurate reporting of instrument sensitivity and dynamic range. The product can be used in multiple applications, with either neat or complex sample mixtures.

The complementary PReMiS Software tool eliminates time-consuming manual calculations and monitors instrument-to-instrument performance over time. Hardware required to run the software includes a Windows PC with a dual-core x86 based processor, 4 GB memory, 100 GB hard drive, video 1024 x 768 pixels, and Microsoft Windows XP SP3, Vista 32/64, Windows 7 32/64 or Windows 8 32/64.
