Single-domain antibodies (sdAbs) are recombinant single-domain monoclonal antibodies of the form VHH derived from naturally occurring camelid (eg, llama, alpaca) and shark heavy-chain antibodies. Since sdAbs can be raised against unique epitope targets inaccessible by conventional antibodies, they offer the ability for precision structural analysis through enhanced molecular and tissue penetration with high affinity and specificity.
ProSci’s sdAb products are designed to introduce a further capability to research regimens in the areas of immuno-oncology and immune checkpoints in addition to SARS-CoV-2 Spike. The company’s recombinant monoclonal sdAbs are supplied as a His-tagged purified protein (Nickel column chromatography) containing a Myc-tag for detection.
