The safety cover on the Feather Safety Razor Sterile Safeshield Scalpel protects the blade in procedure and handling. The clear protective shield can be advanced (to cover the blade) and retracted as required.
Eleven sizes are available and a system of colour-coded buttons on the protective shield assists with blade identification.
The design is in pursuit of safety and hygiene, by advancing the cover when users finish.
The Sterile Safeshield Scalpel can be used in laboratories, general surgery and is suitable for procedure tray kits.
