2014 KuDos award nominations now open
Nominations for The KuDos - Hamilton Science Excellence Awards are now open. The awards were launched in 2007 to celebrate science and innovation from within New Zealand’s Waikato region.
The 2014 KuDos award categories are:
- Environmental Science Award
- Hamilton City Council Agricultural Science Award
- Hill Laboratories Laboratory Technician Award
- Medical Science Award
- Wintec Secondary Science Teacher/Educator/Communicator
- NZ Agribusiness Innovation Award
- The University of Waikato Lifetime Achievement Award
Five expert conveners will be appointed to judge the Agricultural Science Award, Environmental Science Award, Medical Science Award, Science Educator Award and Lab Technician Award, with each convener putting a judging team together for each category. The five conveners will, together, be responsible for judging the Lifetime Achievement Award and Innovation Award.
Nominations for the 2014 KuDos Awards close on 1 August and the awards dinner will be held on 9 October at the Claudelands Conference and Exhibition Centre, Hamilton. For more information on the awards, visit http://thekudos.org.nz/.
