65th Australasian Grain Science Conference
The 65th Australasian Grain Science Conference will be held from 16-18 September at the Crowne Plaza Coogee Beach Hotel, Sydney. With the theme of ‘Grains for a Healthy Future’, the event will bring together international and Australian scientific and technical experts on issues vital to shaping our relationship with food, nutrients and dietary patterns.
The conference program will cover the topics Grains for Health, Grains for Industry, Grain Quality Improvement and Grains for the Future. These will be discussed via scientific and poster sessions, a wheat quality forum, a session organised with the Grains and Legumes Nutrition Council and social events.
Additionally, conference presentations will include:
- An integrating framework for human obesity
- Cereals and legumes - important causes of adverse food reactions
- Grains for oils
- Changing wheat industry landscape
- How grain science and technology can be harnessed for the health of our nations
Registration for the conference is now open, with a discount available for registrations received before 10 July. Abstract submissions for oral and poster presentations will also be accepted until 3 July.
