Agilent Technologies appoints three NMR/MRI experts
Agilent Technologies has announced three new appointments as part of its business strategy to invest and further develop its nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) portfolio, providing greater support to its customers in the South Asia Pacific and Korea (SAPK) region.
The three experts are:
- Dr John Ryan, Applications Scientist focusing on NMR and MRI
- Philip O’Donnell, Field Support Engineer
- Dr Bingwen Zhang, Application Scientist for MRI portfolio
With over 30 years of combined industry experience and in-depth knowledge of the NMR and MRI instrumentations, these experts will enable Agilent to capitalise on the market opportunities to set new standards in the NMR/MRI industry.
“Agilent Technologies is known for producing world-class analytical instrumentations. The appointment of John, Philip and Bingwen shows our commitment to continue investing in developing the NMR/MRI portfolio, which we acquired through Varian Inc in May 2010,” said Rod Minett, Agilent General Manager for Life Sciences, South Asia Pacific and Korea region.
Minett continued, “With the new team onboard, we are able to focus our resources on providing best-in-class customer service to our existing NMR/MRI customer base, and to set up research and industry collaborations, enabling us to make significant breakthroughs into several critical areas of NMR/MRI, including medical, clinical research, chemical analysis and the petroleum industries.”
