Applications closing for ISF Congress

Those hoping to participate in the World Congress on Oils and Fats & 28th ISF Congress must get their applications in soon, with the call for papers closing on 29 March.

Leading presenters in the oils and fats industry will address topical issues at the World Congress on Oils and Fats & 28th ISF Congress, in Sydney from 27–30 September 2009.

Held in Sydney by the International Society for Fat Research (ISF), the biannual congress will provide an international forum for scientific and technological knowledge in the fats and oils industry.

This year's program will include keynote speakers from the UK, Netherlands, Canada, Austria and Argentina providing presentations with themes like health and nutrition, processing, lipid chemistry, olive oil, aquaculture, lipids in animal science, lipid bioscience and genomics, oleochemicals, antioxidants and biodiesel.

The congress will also provide a social program to allow delegates to network and exchange ideas with colleagues and friends from around the world.

Abstracts will be released in July 2009 to allow delegates to review the topics covered and plan their attendance.
