Awards for Excellence in Innovation now open

Monday, 14 November, 2016

The CRC Association’s Awards for Excellence in Innovation are now open for 2017.

The awards were initiated in 1999 to recognise outstanding examples of the transfer of CRC research results, knowledge and technologies that have been developed for a wide range of users. Applications are open to all CRC Association members and evaluated by a panel of eminent judges appointed by the CRC Association Board.

Up to four awards are available for innovative projects with demonstrated impact for Australia. This impact may arise from innovation in the application and use of research or from innovation in education and training or public outreach activities. The award winners will be selected on the basis of three judging criteria: quality of collaboration; impact of innovation; and end user support.

Entries should be submitted via the online application form by COB on 21 February 2017; the password to access the form is available from the CRCA Office via karen.mobbs@crca.asn.au. Winners will be notified by the end of March and the awards will be presented at a gala dinner as part of Collaborate | Innovate | 2017, the CRC Association’s annual conference, to be held on 24 May at Parliament House.

More information can be found on the awards and event websites.
