Danielle Butcher joins Science Industry Australia board
Science Industry Australia (SIA) has announced Danielle Butcher as the new executive officer of its board of directors.
Originally trained as a research scientist, Butcher has spent a number of years in government positions. Her most recent role was director, Water Policy Supply Policy (Customer and Innovation) with the Queensland Department of Energy and Water Supply. She is also a board member of the Smart Water Research Centre Advisory Board Committee at Griffith University.
Butcher will join current SIA board members Ian Gardner, Warren Booth, Glen O’Sullivan, Steve Vermant, Brett Cole, Nigel Simpson and John Hewetson when she commences in her new role on 15 March.
