GBC leads way in export success

Thursday, 22 September, 2005

GBC Scientific has recently completed a major shipment of atomic absorption spectrometers to India. The single order was for 58 instruments and a large volume of accessories and consumable items. GBC is an Australian manufacturer, with these instruments (and others) designed, developed and manufactured at the company's international head office in Dandenong, Victoria.

Manufacture to GBC is extensive and includes all facets of the process incorporating sheet metal fabrication, painting, screen printing, electronic assembly, optics and a myriad of other sections.

GBC won this order against the world's largest instrument manufacturers, competing against several multinational corporations. This is one example of recent GBC export success stories which have included large orders to Poland, the US, Middle East and Asia.

The company exports to over 90 countries across the globe and is an outstanding example of Australian intelligence and technology being equal to, or better than that which is available from overseas countries.
