Mettler-Toledo opens operation in New Zealand
Precision instrument manufacturer Mettler-Toledo has announced Mettler-Toledo New Zealand, following the purchase of the main business assets of New Zealand company Ansutek.
As of today, Mettler-Toledo will market, sell and service product inspection, industrial weighing and vehicle weighing equipment directly in New Zealand. The company’s laboratory equipment will continue to be distributed by VWR International.
All Ansutek management, field sales, field service and engineering staff will transfer to Mettler-Toledo New Zealand and will keep their current responsibilities. Ansutek owner Andy Cashen will join Mettler-Toledo in the position of country manager New Zealand.
Mettler-Toledo has stated that the acquisition is the best solution to ensure long-term support and service for the New Zealand market.
