Positions open on Science Industry Australia board
Science Industry Australia (SIA) has announced that a number of positions are open on its board of directors, with one- and two-year terms available.
According to SIA, members of the board of directors have the opportunity to represent their own organisations while also shaping the strategic direction of the association. They are voluntary roles requiring minimal time commitment.
Those wishing to nominate can do so by completing the nomination form and returning it to sia@scienceindustry.com.au by 1 August. The form must be signed by the nominee, their member organisation and another financial SIA member.
The election will take place at SIA’s annual general meeting, which will be held on 31 August at Deakin University’s Burwood campus and followed by a wine and cheese networking event. The networking event will give attendees the opportunity to hear about SIA’s strategic direction and the activities the association has planned over the next 12 months, as well as to mingle with fellow members.
SIA members can register to attend the AGM by clicking here.
