RS Components and SMC Corporation extend global partnership to Australia and New Zealand
RS Components, the trading brand of Electrocomponents plc, has extended its global partnership with the SMC Corporation into Australia and New Zealand.
RS Components will offer 4600 SMC products across the region, with more than 2200 of these stocked locally in Australia for next-day delivery. The range comprises a broad selection of pneumatic equipment including actuators, fittings, filters, regulators, lubricators, tubing, control valves, blow guns, silencers, pressure gauges and flow control equipment.
RS Components and SMC will continue to extend their trading partnership over the next few years, incrementally adding SMC pneumatics products to the ANZ range.
Simon Pullinger, RS Components’ Head of Product Management - Maintenance in Australia, said: “Extending our partnership in ANZ benefits both companies, as we get to broaden our offer to Australian mining and related industries, and SMC extend their reach to customers in the region through our various supply channels.”
Peter Newfield, National Marketing Manager of SMC Pneumatics Australia, said: “We are very pleased to be working with RS Components in Australia and New Zealand. Combining SMC’s market-leading products and technical excellence with RS Components’ superb online customer experience and world-class delivery performance means that accessing our range of quality components has never been easier.”
The RS Components and SMC Corporation partnership now extends globally throughout the UK, Europe, the USA, Asia and Oceania.
