Wednesday, 12 March, 2014

Swinburne University of Technology and Lims1 are holding a short webinar on 9 April from 9-9.30 am.

Ron Fisher, laboratory manager at Swinburne University of Technology, will explain how the university used the laboratory information system Lims1 to streamline lab process and make its future lab managers workforce-ready.

Fisher and the Lims1 team will share:

  • A short intro to Lims1;
  • What Swinburne University was looking for in a LIMS system and a supplier partnership to get their students future-proofed;
  • What the pre-implementation issues and post-implementation benefits for the lab were; and
  • What can be taken from this project.

If you are looking to implement a LIMS over the coming year, the webinar will be of interest. Many tips for planning and implementation can be taken away from the case study.
