While the aerospace, research and pharmaceutical industries utilise certain scientific methods to release nanoparticles, there are few effective containment solutions that exist for particles that range in size from 1 to 100 nm.

The Air Science Purair NANO Ductless Nanoparticle Containment Enclosure is designed to contain nanomaterials/particles that are 100 nm or less in diameter (ultrafine). With a stainless steel enclosure, powder-coated FFU and dual filtration options to ensure good containment, the enclosure provides a safe work environment due to its ductless technology.

The product’s filter clamping eliminates bypass leakage, while its exhaust canopy allows for thimble ducting to the facility exhaust system. An airflow monitor features a built-in low-airflow alarm. An optional SafeSwitch Filter Shutter System is also available, closing off the exposed filter media face and minimising exposure during filter changes.
