AirClean Systems AC600 Series PCR Workstations combine ISO 5 HEPA-filtered air with UV light irradiation for a useful DNA/RNA manipulation and amplification work area. Cross-contamination during amplification of DNA and RNA can lead to inaccurate results, costing the lab technician valuable time and reagents. PCR Workstations minimise this risk by keeping airborne contaminants away from samples and irradiating work surfaces and tools between amplifications.

The PCR workstation works in an efficient and timely manner to provide a high level of safety for staff and samples. Room air enters the PCR workstation and cleans via the electrostatic pre-filtration. The air next moves downward through the HEPA filter, cleaning the vertical laminar flow air to enter the chamber then. The clean air will be recirculated into the room.

The workstation is fully equipped with safety features for process protection from any hazardous airborne materials that will contaminate the samples. It also comes with an automatic sash switch feature turning blowers off when the sash is closed maintaining an air barrier, filter safety lockout to ensure correct filter replacement and low airflow visual and audible warnings.
