Chromotek Histone-Label for chromatin staining in IF and IHC

Chromotek’s Histone-Label is a high-performance, ready-to-use chromatin staining probe that provides low background levels and effectively differentiates between euchromatin and heterochromatin throughout the cell cycle.

The probe consists of an anti-histone Nanobody, conjugated to the fluorescent dye ATTO488, and is designed to provide several benefits, including good penetration (easily penetrating densely packed nuclei); high resolution (achieving clear, detailed images); and monovalent VHHs (preventing clustering of epitopes for correct results).

For further information, contact United Bioresearch Products, the distributor of the full Chromotek range in Australia, or visit https://www.ptglab.com/products/Histone-Label-Atto488-tba488.htm.

Image caption: HeLa cells stained in parallel with Histone-Label and a monoclonal rabbit anti-H2A IgG/anti-rabbit Alexa568 secondary antibody. The Histone-Label signal co-localises with conventional antibody staining; however, Histone-Label here better penetrates into the compactly packed nuclei than the anti-H2A IgG and secondary IgGs. There is more green signal from Histone-Label at the centre of the nuclei and more red signal from the anti-H2A IgG on the surface/edge of the nuclei in the merge image.
