Kuhner Shaker SB10-X OrbShake scale-up bioreactor
The use of shaken bioreactors for cell cultivation and the expression of recombinant proteins has increased significantly in recent years. Kuhner Shaker now offers a complete scale-up line of products with volumes up to 2500 L.
The SB10-X OrbShake is an orbital shaken benchtop bioreactor for the cultivation of human, mammalian and plant cells in a disposable bag. The benchtop bioreactor, with a working volume from 3 to 12 L, is geometrically identical to the large-scale production systems (SB50-X/SB200-X/SB2500-X). The Kuhner Direct Drive ensures short mixing times, high mass transfer areas and low shear forces, which are essential for reproducible cell culture cultivations.
All OrbShake bioreactors provide pH and DO monitoring and control. With the pumping module included, fed-batch and perfusion processes can also be carried out.
