The GeneSieve Bioanalysis software package enables users to find the most appropriate StellARray qPCR arrays or gene lists associated with a particular research area or gene

The free online tool, with search terms such as subject keyword, disease area, gene ID/name or by using gene lists, is available at http://array.lonza.com/genesieve/.

The software filters or ‘sieves’ thousands of genes for custom population of real-time PCR arrays that have a unifying biological theme, such as a particular disease or pathway of interest.

It allows users to quickly search the growing list of over 16 million scientific abstracts for genes involved in a related process with a lower false positive rate than other methods.

Genes are subsequently ranked by multiple fields including quantity and quality of literature references.

Applications include: gene expression profiling, pathway analysis, microarray data validation, siRNA knockdown analysis and Biomarker discovery.
