Lonza Nucleofector human keratinocyte kits and Amaxa protocols

The Nucleofector kits and corresponding Amaxa optimised protocols are now available for the transfection of human keratinocytes.

Optimal kits for transfection of human Keratinocytes in the 4D-Nucleofector and 96-well Shuttle System are the P3 primary cell kits used in combination with cell-type specific protocols. Human keratinocyte specific kits are available for the Nucleofector II/2b device. Kits are suitable for adult and neonatal keratinocytes.

Achieve transfection efficiency up to 70%, viability up to 60% with maintenance of functionality (ie, no terminal differentiation).

The kits can be used for studying gene expression or intracellular signalling. DNA and siRNA transfections are cited in literature.
