7 minute Western Blots

The iBlot Dry Blotting System efficiently and reliably transfers proteins from polyacrylamide gels in seven minutes or less without the need for buffers or an external power supply.

A self-contained unit, the iBlot device uses disposable blotting stacks with integrated transfer membranes (nitrocellulose and PVDF), offering the convenience of a bufferless, plug-and-play system. Compared to conventional blotting techniques, the iBlot system enables higher downstream detection sensitivities.

The iBlot system is ideal for scientists analysing proteins through western blotting who need:

  • Faster complete transfer (in seven minutes or less)
  • Higher detection sensitivity and evenness
  • Increased blotting reliability and reproducibility
