Graintec supplies rapid aflatoxin test kits for pet food and food manufacturers.
The range includes a qualitative yes/no test, the AgraStrip Afla, suitable for testing raw commodities such as grain or groundnuts for the presence of aflatoxins with a certain ‘cut off level’ (such as 4, 10 or 20 µg/kg). This lateral flow test with three different cut-off levels (4, 10, 20 ppb) can be performed in less than 5 minutes and needs no additional laboratory equipment.
Also available is the Fluorquast Afla, for screening cereals by sequential analysis. The test gives quantitative results within 5 minutes, needs little equipment and can be easily processed.
The Agraquant Afla with ELISA technology is also available if many samples need to be analysed at once.
