The Agilent Technologies High Sensitivity DNA Kit, together with the 2100 Bioanalyser, is suitable for control of samples entering microarray and next-generation sequencing (NGS) workflows.

Recommended by NGS platform providers, the Agilent 2100 Bioanalyser is suitable for automated sizing and quantification of various sample types.

The Agilent High Sensitivity DNA Kit allows sizing and quantification of DNA samples in the single-digit pg/µL concentration range.

Features of the system include: increased sensitivity for DNA fragment analysis - down to 5 pg/µL; sizing, quantification and quality control of complex DNA samples - down to 100 pg/µL for fragmented DNA or DNA sequencing libraries; broad linear dynamic range - enables the detection of less abundant products, eg, PCR artefacts and impurities; easily define smear regions - by specifying size range of interest; sizing accuracy - samples are normalised to two internal markers and an external ladder; quantification accuracy and reproducibility - automated quantification of each DNA fragment against internal standards; minimal sample consumption - only 1 µL of material required per analysis; ready to use - standardised assays and pre-packaged reagent kits sufficient for 110 samples.

Its applications include: gene expression quantification; DNA quantification and QC for NGS; detection of GMOs; additional DNA sizing and quantification applications.
