Bio-Rad Laboratories Bio-Plex Pro human and mouse diabetes assays

Bio-Plex Pro human and mouse diabetes assays are magnetic bead-based multiplex assays for the simultaneous detection of multiple diabetes and obesity biomarkers in a single experiment, using as little as 12.5 µL of sample. These assays have been developed to deliver accurate, reproducible measurements with complete flexibility to meet research needs.

The assay features enhanced productivity allowing users to simultaneously measure up to 12 human or nine mouse diabetes and obesity markers in just 3 h. Users have the option to expand their biomarker profile by multiplexing with Bio-Plex Pro cytokine, chemokine and growth factor assays. There are flexible ordering options which include a premixed kit or users can select only desired biomarkers to multiplex. The assay has been tested for robustness in serum and plasma matrices and covers broad assay working ranges.

The magnetic bead-based assays take advantage of simplified processing provided by a magnetic workflow.

Assays are available in 1 x 96- and 10 x 96-well formats.
