Enzo Life Sciences AMPIXTRACT Virus & Pathogen Extraction Kit

Enzo Life Sciences’ AMPIXTRACT Virus & Pathogen Extraction Kit utilises magnetic-particle technology for optimised isolation and purification of nucleic acids from various biological specimens. The kit is intended to be used for downstream nucleic acid detection applications such as RT-qPCR. The extraction can be performed either manually or on any automated extraction platform open to accept third-party reagents.

The product’s magnetic bead separation technology, with a proprietary buffer system, enables >99% recovery of extracted RNA in 1 h, with predictable and reproducible yields. Magnetic bead technology enables the purification of high-quality nucleic acids that are free of proteins, nucleases and other impurities. The purified nucleic acids are ready for direct use in downstream applications, such as amplification and quantitative detection of microorganisms in biological specimens, enzymatic reactions, or for storage for later use.
