Immundiagnostik’s ID-Vit MTP assays range enables the quantification of all eight bioavailable B vitamins with high sensitivity. It features microbiological bioassays that can detect levels of B vitamins individually: thiamine (B1), riboflavin (B2), niacin (B3), pantothenic acid (B5), pyridoxal (B6), biotin (B7), folic acid (B9) and cobalamin (B12).
Advantages include: determination of biologically available vitamins; simple processing due to the ready-to-use-kit; simple measurement in the ELISA reader; a high degree of automation; and results available after 24–72 h. The range includes breakable test strips for cost efficiency and is said to result in reduced costs in comparison to conventional analytics.
