The IH-SR Isolated Heart for Small Rodents from Hugo Sachs Elektronikā€“Harvard Apparatus is suitable for experiments on mice, hamsters, rats and guinea pigs.

The jacketed heart chamber maintains the optimal environment for the heart.

Suitable for cardiac electrophysiology and ischemia/reperfusion studies, the IH-SR is available for Langendorff perfusion and can be upgraded and customised for working heart perfusion.

The integrated aortic block of this system is the interface between the heart and the IH-SR. This allows the aortic cannula to mount easily to all measurement electrodes and collecting cannulae.

The compact apparatus provides optimal low-volume and high-temperature stability.
