The CalciFluor Bone Resorption Assay kit provides reagents for the sensitive and quantitative measurement of in vitro bone resorption in a rapid and homogeneous format.

Users can accurately measure the calcium released as a result of osteoclast-mediated resorptive activity.

The appearance of free calcium in cell culture supernatants is a direct result of cell-mediated bone resorption and closely parallels the release of collagen degradation fragments as assayed with commercially available enzyme immunoassay kits.

Sufficient materials are provided to process 288 samples (3 x 96-well plates) including a 21-sample standard curve for each 96-well plate.
