Lonza’s plateable mouse hepatocytes are a powerful tool for toxicology studies and drug metabolism research.
Mouse hepatocytes are frequently used in toxicology studies as a model system to assess drug-induced liver injury (DILI) and other toxicological effects. They provide a valuable tool for studying drug metabolism, toxicity mechanisms, and the impact of environmental factors on hepatic drug disposition.
Lonza provides plateable mouse hepatocytes from the four most common research mouse strains, along with a comprehensive media system to support their thawing, plating and maintenance. They are rigorously tested for metabolic activity of general Phase I and Phase II metabolism in suspension, as well as healthy morphology lasting 72 h in monolayer sandwich culture.
