Microtitre plate washer

The Atlantis microtitre plate washer from ASYS Hitech (Austria) has automated and affordable aspiration and dispensing facilities for 96 or 384 well plate analysis to suit all laboratories using microtitre plates for routine assays.

The washer is quiet in operation and a manifold position sensor ensures precise height adjustment to ensure minimal residual well volumes of around 1.5 µL and digitally controlled aspiration and dispensing pumps ensure high accuracy with low noise.

Dispensing volumes can be set in the range 50 to 2000 µL with accuracy better than 5%. Up to 50 wash programs can be stored and up to 20 wash cycles can be completed automatically with aspiration times up to 10 s, soak times up to 1000 s and shake times from 0 to 10 s.

Shake speed is software adjustable. The standard system includes facilities for one wash buffer and one rinse liquid but there is an option to increase this to up to four liquid capability.
