Plates for robotic handling

The Nunc 1536-Well High Base Plates are designed for high throughput screening laboratories. The plate's height provides a large area for secure plate gripping by automated systems and for applying barcode labels. These plates are suitable for cell culture analysis or assays involving luminescence, fluorescence or colorimetric reactions.

Nunc 1536-Well High Base Plates are available in clear, black or white polystyrene. Additional choices include untreated (non-sterile) plates supplied without a lid, or cell-culture treated (sterile) plates with a lid.

Sample well volumes are reduced to minimise reagent use and have a maximum volume of 13.2 µL, with a working volume range of 1-10 µL. Plates are manufactured with precise flatness and are compatible with automated systems. Plate dimensions are 128 x 86 mm.

The plates are packaged in easy-to-open, anti-static packs of 25 with 100 plates per case. User-specified modifications are available, including barcoding and various surface treatments.
