The Porvair Sciences 1 mL protein precipitation cartridge combines the operational benefits of p3 technology with the convenience of a cartridge-based separation methodology.
Incorporating a treated dual matrix frit, the p3 cartridge eliminates the wetting-out and leaking of sample associated with many traditional protein precipitation products before the application of vacuum. The treated frit matrix also maintains high flow rates enabling quick sample preparation times. In tests, p3 cartridges have been shown not to have any major adverse non-specific binding problems.
Designed for laboratories looking to handle small numbers of discrete protein precipitation experiments, the p3 cartridge offers an effective and convenient alternative to using protein precipitation microplates.
