On the GeneGlobe web portal, users can explore and order gene and pathway specific products for a range of applications. For miRNA research, the miScript target protector is available for researchers doing functional analysis of miRNAs.

The FlexiTube siRNA premix allows one-step gene silencing in low-throughput applications for analysis of gene function. For DNA-methylation analysis, the PyroMark CpG and custom assays are available using pyrosequencing technology. In addition, the PyroMark OneStep RT-PCR Kit enables the reverse transcription and subsequent amplification of RNA samples in the same tube. The miScript target protector specifically interferes with the interaction of an miRNA with a single target, while leaving the regulation of other targets of the same miRNA unaffected. In this approach, transfection of an miScript target protector can reveal the targets and roles of specific miRNAs.

FlexiTube siRNA premix is a tool for functional genomics and drug discovery research. siRNA and a transfection reagent are premixed at optimised ratios and have the benefits of potent siRNA design and efficient transfection, while minimising the need for tedious optimisation, shortening the transfection protocol and enabling consistency across experiments and more reliable results.

The PyroMark CpG assays enable high-resolution methylation analysis of specific targets across the genome. Using pyrosequencing, consecutive methylation sites can be analysed independently and quantitative methylation data can be obtained in a convenient way. The assays are predesigned and eliminate the time-consuming and error-prone assay design process in epigenetics research.

The PyroMark custom assays are user-designed and can be used for any type of pyrosequencing research application: epigenetics; genotyping; microbial ID; and resistance typing. By designating PCR and sequencing primers, the researcher can generate optimised, user-specific assays to determine methylation patterns, the frequency of insertions and deletions or other mutations, or to obtain sequence information of any gene.

The PyroMark onestep RT-PCR kit is used for the identification and resistance typing of RNA viruses using pyrosequencing technology. It generates a high-quality sequencing template in the quantities needed for sensitive mutation and microbial analysis.
