Qmount Qdot Mounting Media is a nonaqueous, permanent mountant designed for samples labelled with Qdot nanocrystals. It is claimed that Qmount media causes no significant loss of Qdot fluorescence, both initially and over the course of several months.
Qmount Qdot Mounting Media hardens within 12 h and has a refractive index of 1.5 when fully cured. The ready-to-use Qmount media is supplied in three convenient dropper bottles, each containing sufficient material to mount up to 20 coverslips.
