Tube and cap sealing strips

Eppendorf has launched a range of real-time PCR consumables, including PCR tube strips and Masterclear cap strips.

The tube strips consist of eight connected tubes, made of white polypropylene to increase fluorescence reflection. These consumables have the same characteristics as real-time PCR plates.

The Masterclear cap strips consist of eight connected caps. The optic window of each cap allows excitation light and fluorescence to pass through the cap more effectively.

The caps have an inverted dome, which prevents scratching of the optic window and reduces the volume of the tubes or wells.

Both products are designed to provide a light seal and fit. Both the tubes and the caps can be used with a variety of other PCR consumables. The Masterclear cap strips also fit on a variety of PCR plates, including the 96-well twin.tec PCR plates and 96-well twin.tec real-time PCR plates.
