'Baby' biotechs targeted by NSW seminar

A free seminar has been set down for November 13 in Sydney, with the aim of letting young biotechnology companies into the secrets of developing management strategies that will allow them to survive adverse events.
'From crèche to corporate: risk management for baby biotechs' is organised by the NSW Department of State and Regional Development, and features a line-up of speakers chosen for their business expertise:
- Jim Lennon (Acuiti Legal): Legal traps for biotech companies as they move towards commercialisation.
- Mike Quinn (Innovation Capital Associates): How to minimise risk from an investor's point of view.
- Brian Tozzi (Covance Pty Ltd): The importance of regulatory requirements required to develop a sound strategic plan.
- Ian Parisi (Exchange Insurance Brokers): Links between risk management and insurance.
