Wednesday, 11 July, 2001

Delta EMD has signed an agreement to invest over $200,000 in the establishment of the "˜Delta EMD Lectureship in Applied Chemistry' with the University of Newcastle.

Delta will provide salary support for the lectureship and additional funding as research support for four years.

The university anticipates appointing a person with expertise in applied electrochemistry, an area in which the University currently lacks deep expertise and one of great relevance to national priorities.
