New cereal varieties for SA farmers

SA wheat and barley growers could soon have five new varieties from which to choose.

Giving details at an Adviser Update in Adelaide, the leader of the SA Field Crop Evaluation Program, Rob Wheeler, said SA plant breeders anticipated the release of three new wheat and two new barley varieties over the next 12 months.
