Proteome Systems of Sydney, Australia, and Sigma-Aldrich of St. Louis have entered a manufacturing and distribution collaboration.

Under the agreement, the two companies will co-develop reagents and other products for proteomics research, which Sigma-Aldrich will manufacture and distribute.

A Sigma-Aldrich spokesman said Proteome Systems would receive royalties on sales of products developed under the partnership and would also have the opportunity to receive a commission on products sold as part of its upcoming proteomics platform.
