The Dalsa Dalstar 1M28-SA area scan camera is suitable for applications such as medical imaging and industrial metrology.
The camera uses a one mexapixel (1024 x 1024) CMOS image sensor, capable of running at up to 27 frames per second (fps) at full resolution. Frame rates over 100,000 fps can be achieved through windowing. The Dalstar 1M28-SA features an electronic global (non-rolling) shutter for Stop Action (SA) imaging, where each pixel is integrated at the same time, allowing for smear-free capture of fast moving objects. Linlog technology provides high intra-scene dynamic range (up to 120 dB).
Programmable features and diagnostics are accessible through the Camera Link MDR26 connector. The camera's small body and robustness make it suitable for industrial environments.
