Automatic Focusing

Documentation of microscopic examinations in life science, materials analysis and quality inspection must be reliable and objective. The Axiovision module Autofocus is useful when working with digital cameras, as it automatically focuses on the specimen and leads to razor sharp images every time.

Manual focusing results in uncertain definition of the image especially in cases of time lapse imaging. This is now a thing of the past, as the benefits of Autofocus are great when it comes to fluorescence photography as well as with reflected light transmitted-light, brightfield and darkfield microscopy.

The user can experience the benefits of automated and reproducible imaging. In conjunction with a motorised microscope these automation capabilities can be fully expanded.
