Automatic Gas Chromatograph

The Process Analyzers 301-B automatic gas chromatograph is a PC-based GC designed for unattended, continuous monitoring of a wide range of chemicals in ambient air, stack, or processes. With a choice of detectors (thermal conductivity, flame ionisation, and photo-ionisation) the model 301-B offers auto calibration and multiple user-programmable alarms.

Windows Millennium is built into the 301-B along with Peak Works chromatography software. The keyboard can be on-screen or standalone. The sample pump within the 301-B draws samples from one up to eight locations (multi-point option) simultaneously. A 10 port valve switches position to inject sample onto the column(s). Each measurement is recorded and compared against preset alarm levels.

Auto calibration can be programmed at various time intervals. The 301-B consists of a gas chromatograph, a fluidics system, an electronics system (including built-in Pentium PC), and an optional multipoint system. There is a pre-column to separate undesirable elements from the sample.
