Javac has released a series of oil-free dry high vacuum pumps.
The IPS500B is a 30 m3/h scroll pump with ultimate vacuum of 1 P. It is suitable for backing vacuum coaters, vacuum furnaces, Helium leak detectors and backing turbo-molecular pumps.
Dry technology is just that - it is oil free and hydrocarbon free meaning experiments and samples do not suffer from contamination. The dry pumps are simple to service, require no oil changes and include an anti-flux device to prevent reflux during power failures.
