Electronic single channel pipette

VistaLab Technologies has released its electronic single channel model to its Ovation BioNatural pipette range.

With all the ergonomic design features and physical structure of the existing eight and 12 channel BioNatural pipettes, the latest addition has a range of software-driven liquid handling functions for users who need a higher level of automation. Fully electronic operations maximise the efficiency for all tasks including multiple dispensing, pipetting, reverse pipetting, mixing, serial diluting and automatic sequential dispensing.

Ovation pipettes are easy to hold and use without over-rotation of the wrist or hand - minimising pressure in the carpal tunnel and to the median nerve. The non-axial 'low profile' design also doesn't require repetitive lifting or reaching with an arm, so the user can work for hours without tension in the shoulder or elbow.

A precision motor drive makes repetitive pipetting effortless. Both left and right handed models are available with the following volume ranges: 0.5-20, 5-250 and 25-125 µL and all feature the tip acquisition system that 'clicks' when a tip is securely seated and easy to use, yet releases the tip at the push of a button.
