The Luxtron Fluoroptic Thermometry (FOT) Lab Kit allows users to easily and accurately measure temperature in hostile environments involving high voltages, electromagnetic interference (EMI) and strong radio frequencies (RF).

The FOT Lab Kit is based on Fluoroptic technology which uses entirely non-metallic probes. This technology is used in a variety of applications including measurement of wafer and electrostatic chuck temperature during wafer processing, high voltage windings temperature in power transformers, and control of temperature in an industrial microwave dryer. The IME immunity and inherent stability of this technology enable users to measure temperature when conventional sensors like thermistors, thermocouples and RTDs are inadequate.

The FOT Lab kit includes instrumentation to measure up to 4 channels with a temperature range of -100 to +330°C. A variety of standard probes is available to support a wide range of applications and thermal interfaces. Analog (0 to 10 V) and serial (RS232) outputs are available to transfer the data to an external PC or alternate data acquisition system.
