Ice buckets and tube racks

The Mirella Research 'Handy' and 'Nicer' ice buckets are suitable for use in any laboratory. The long-lasting lightweight multi-purpose containers are unbreakable, leakproof and stackable. The PVC containers are moulded in one piece, making them very strong.

All containers are impervious to moisture, odour and are non-sweating.

The MR Handy and Nicer ice buckets are resistant to highly acidic and basic solutions, salts, alcohol, chloroform and phenol to name a few. These containers are suitable for ice, dry ice, dry ice-alcohol slurry and liquid nitrogen. All containers are resistant to temperature from -196 to 93°C.

MR also offers the tube racks for the Nicer and Handy ice buckets. These racks are manufactured from expanded PVC and are contoured to rest steadily in the ice buckets. These racks firmly grip the tubes, but enable for easy tube insertion and removal. The tube racks are suitable for work in ice or dry ice and float in water baths, melted ice, dry ice-alcohol slurry or liquid nitrogen. The racks are available with pre-bored holes in straight lines or as blank racks so that users can design appropriate configurations.
