Hartt Scientific has released the 4180 series of infrared calibrators.

The 4180 and 4181 devices use special design technology to ensure ease of use and accuracy through the use of target sizes recommended by thermometer manufacturers.

The 4180 has a temperature range of -155 A°C to 120 A°C, with radiometric (non-contact infrared) display accuracy of A±0.40 A°C. The 4181 calibrator measures from 35 to 500 A°C, with a radiometric display accuracy of A±0.35 A°C.

They both have emissivity and size of source effect with other features including: target stability; target uniformity; 15 cm target diameter; traceable radiometric calibration.
