The Radiance2100 confocal and multiphoton microscope can be progressively upgraded from single channel confocal through to multichannel multiphoton systems as required. Confocal microscopy enables the acquisition of optical section images through a fluorescent biological sample so that only light that is in focus is collected.

The Radiance2100 alignment-free, laser point scanning systems utilise this principle with a scanning design based on patented optoelectronics.

The maintenance-free, fixed alignment optics mean users always get reproducible confocal imaging performance. Each system offers a choice of emission filters that provide the highest spectral resolution with 100% reproducibility and independence of confocal aperture size or wavelength.

Radiance2100 is compatible with a wide range of upright and inverted microscopes from Nikon, Zeiss and Olympus.
