The Eppendorf Standard Micro Test Tube 3810X has improved lid geometry. Opening and closing tubes is a lot easier, with the optimised lid hinge giving better positioning for sealing and enabling the entire lid surface to be closed evenly. Handling convenience is boosted by the specially developed slanting tube lip, which offers a larger surface for opening and closing.

In addition to the ample labelling surfaces on the fat, frosted lid and on the body of the tube, a graduation scale from 0.1 to 1.5 mL has been included on the side to enable the user to visually monitor the pipetting procedure.

Standard Micro Test Tube 3810X can be centrifuged at up to 25,000 x g in fixed-angle rotors, with up to 70,000 x g possible in form-closed, swing-bucket rotors.

The aerosol-free removal of biohazardous substances is also possible via a cannula, which passes through the thin membrane in the middle of the lid.
